Rtveli:
An Aesthetic Wine Experience

Come be part of the celebration — spend a day in authentic vineyards, pick fresh grapes, and take part in the winemaking tradition at the winery.
Let’s dive into the world of winemaking and experience every step of this amazing process. Here, you’ll discover some of the secrets of Georgian wine craftsmanship.
We will celebrate Rtveli at one of the most aesthetic wineries in Kakheti region — and perhaps even in the world — Nekresi Estate.
Armed with pruning shears, we head out to pick the juiciest, ripest grapes into woven baskets.
Let’s bring our harvest to the satsnakheli, the old-fashioned wine press, and stomp the grapes barefoot to music and dance, with the beautiful Alazani Valley as our backdrop.
After harvesting, join a Georgian cooking class to learn the secrets of making khinkali and enjoy your delicious creations fresh at the table!
After a day packed with amazing experiences, enjoy a tasty traditional Georgian lunch.

Rtveli:
A Traditional Georgian Harvest Festival

Every autumn in Kakheti — Georgia’s premier wine region — a special time arrives: the vineyards come alive. The air fills with the sweet scent of ripe grapes, music, and festive cheer. Locals come together to celebrate Rtveli, one of the oldest and most beloved grape harvest traditions.
We invite you to be part of this magical celebration and join us on a journey into the world of Georgian winemaking. We’ll start the day with a tasting of Georgian wines and a hands-on class on Georgia’s iconic dish — khinkali!
Next, we’ll head out to the vineyards to pick juicy, sun-soaked grapes while enjoying breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley.
Once we’ve picked the grapes, we’ll stomp them in the satsnakheli — a traditional wooden press — just like people have for centuries. We might even start dancing — because Rtveli always comes with music!
At last, we’ll all sit down to celebrate the harvest!
Our feast’s star will be the Georgian tamada — the toastmaster who lights up the party. He’ll turn the celebration around the festive table into a fun and cozy gathering that brings everyone closer.
